1. The History of the Faculty
In 1976 The foundation of the Teacher’s College
In 1992 On February 24th the King Bhumiphol Aduljhadet (King Rama IX) gave the name “Rajabhat Institute”
In 1997 The foundation of the Graduate School Project and the President Dr. Narong Bhutthichewin was the Chairman of the project then there was the foundation of the Graduate School and Assist Prof.Dr. Prayote Khoopkarnjanakul was its first Dean.
In 2002 Assoct.Pro. Dr.Choosak Aekphet was selected to be the Dean
In 2004 The King Rama IX gave the rules for Surat Thani Rajabhat University and the Graduate School is then one of Faculties of the University
In 2006 Two new curriculums were opened that are the Master of Education in Mathematics Studies and the Certificated in English Teaching
In 2007 The Master of Business Administration in Business Administration with the cooperation of Thai Airways Company (Limited) in Bangkok
In 2008 The Master of Political Sciences
In 2010 The Master of Health Sciences and the Doctoral of the Leadership for Educational Management
In 2012 Dr. Puangpen Choorin was chosen to be the Dean
Status
The Graduate School is the government section equally the faculty where is situated by the approval of SRU council and has to provide the education at the higher level than Bachelor’s degree. It also controls the education standard of Master’s degree and cooperates with other faculties in educational management
